This guide will show you how to install presets from The Preset Bay into Lightroom Mobile. Please make sure your Lightroom is up to date before installing Lightroom Presets. This guide works on both iOS and Android devices.
1
Once you have downloaded the .ZIP file, you will need to unzip it. Android devices have Built in Zip software to open the files. You will need to download an App from the App store with iOS devices so you can open the files on your Phone.
Tip: If you have the Lightroom Desktop version, you can import the Presets there and it will sync with your Lightroom Mobile
2
Open the folder “Mobile” to locate the Mobile DNG Files. Note: The DNG files will be saved to your Phone gallery and might appear blank (This is normal). You will be able to view them within Lightroom. Open the Lightroom App, and import the DNG files into Lightroom.
Tip: In order to Locate the Imported DNG files easier within Lightroom, Create a new folder in the Lightroom Gallery and import them there. Name the Gallery the same as the Preset Collection
3
First, select the first DNG file (They are numbered) within the Lightroom Gallery in order to open the File. Once opened, select the 3 dots “…” on the top right hand corner. Then select “Create Preset”.
4
Enter the Name of the Preset (Use the same name as on the DNG file in order to keep your presets organized).
5
Create a new group for the new presets (Right below Preset Name) and name accordingly. Select the drop down menu by “Select” and select “All” to ensure you will be copying all the settings from the DNG file.
6
Select the “Check” button on the top right hand corner when done. Congratulations, you have created your Preset successfully. Repeat these steps for all of the DNG files
