Camera Raw (Photoshop CC)
This guide will show you how to install presets from The Preset Bay in Camera Raw (Photoshop CC). Please make sure your Photoshop is up to date before installing the presets. This guide works on both Windows and Mac devices.
1
After purchase, you will be redirected to a downloads page from where you can download the preset files. You will also receive an email with the download links (Please be sure to check your spam/junk folder incase the emails ended up in there). You will then need to unzip the main folder if it did not automatically unzip after download. You will however need to keep the Desktop(XMP).ZIP folder under the Desktop folder zipped, as photoshop requires the file to remain compressed when importing.
2
Proceed to open Photoshop CC. You will need to open an image in Photoshop in order to be proceed and import the presets.
3
Once the image is open, head on over to “Filter” in the menu bar, and select “Camera Raw Filter”
4
Once the “Camera Raw Filter” window is open, click on the Presets icon to open the Presets panel. This can usually be found on the right hand side of the window.
5
Then proceed to click on the 3 dots in the preset panel, and select “Import Presets and Profiles”. In The finder window, find where the presets have been downloaded and select the Desktop(XMP).ZIP file under the Desktop folder. Click import.
6
And there you have it. The Presets have been installed successfully. You can now proceed and select the desired preset, and when done click okay. The changes will be applied to the image in Photoshop.
